So sweet to have this little girl (and to have the family together again)!

Eliza is now 9 days old! She is just such a sweet little thing -- hardly ever fussy, sleeps pretty well at night, and provides entertainment for minutes on end for her big brothers. :) Sammy is especially smitten with her. He wants to check on her every few minutes, just to make sure she's doing okay, and he wants to hold her all the time. Joshy is a little more conflicted. He likes to give her kisses, but he also likes to pull her hair and pinch her arms. Yesterday he yelled "You get back in Mommy's tummy RIGHT NOW!" at her. Ah, well -- guess we'll keep giving him extra loves so he knows we still love him, too!

Sammy started preschool this week, to his everlasting excitement. Boyd, one of his best friends, and a couple other friends from the ward are in his class, AND he got to take Buster (his stuffed bunny) for show and tell. Does it get any better than that? He also got his very own backpack. He's getting so big! Joshy was very excited when we got to go pick him up -- it's hard to be left behind all the time! We walked home with Boyd and his mom and little sister, and Joshy followed the big boys so determinedly (is that a word?), always one step behind but just happy as a clam.

My mom has been here this week taking care of all of us and has been such a huge help and great company. Ange also came over to help while Mom was working at the temple yesterday. The boys had lots of fun staying over at Nana and Bapa's for nearly a week after Eliza was born (because Joshy and everyone at their house had a nasty stomach bug we didn't want to give to Eliza) -- one of their favorite things was Bapa making up stories for them every night at bedtime. We just have the greatest family ever!

she is seriously so beautiful!!! I couldn't stop laughing when you said Joshy told her to get back in your tummy right now! LOL! He is just such a character. Rick still laughs when he thinks of the story where he told you he needed a cool drink on this hot summer day! Ahhh your kiddos they are just too fun! I'm glad to hear you have help from your mama and sister! You have a great family! Anyway we are still trecking away at all our paper work for the adoption. We'll keep you guys posted! Lots of love from us!!

I LOVE the slide pics. Your kids are all so darn cute! I must be completely disabled, but in your bath pictures you're scrubbing her hair with one of those really soft scrubby things that I cannot find ANYWHERE! Share the wisdom. :)

Thanks, ladies! Crystal, that scrubby is just the one they gave us in the hospital -- I don't think I've seen one in a store. Hmmm...
